Hair Growth Products
Pick up a mag today and look thru the announcement
sections and you may probably see one announcement for hair growth products. But do these products,
natural or otherwise really work? Are you able to promote hair growth?
As far as I am aware there's no medical proof available that proves or disproves the success of hair
expansion products. What these products doubtless do is to excite the hair follicles in your scalp so that when
your hair does grow, it is fitter and stronger.
Preferred hair expansion products are taken outwardly in the shape of a scalp application. What they do is
totally clean your scalp thus removing any build up of proteins. This mixed with the act of massaging your scalp
when applying the product excites the hair follicles and blood circulation, and so inspires hair expansion.
Then there are the hair expansion products that are taken orally. Many of these products will contain vitamins
like vitamin B6 or B12, zinc or copper. All these vitamins are required by your body for healthy, robust hair.
If you are considering trying one of the various hair expansion products available, check on the packaging the
product has been authorized by the FDA before you purchase. You then know that it's been absolutely tested in
proper, objective clinical trials and any complications that have took place have been documented. In addition,
reading the package obviously will tell you if it is indeed a hair expansion product or a hair thickening product,
as the 2 can be easily confused.
Back in 2001, 2 hair restoration treatments were authorized by the FDA. If one of these is listed on the packet
as an ingredient, then you stand an improved chance of it working. The two ingredients are finasteride and
minoxidil.
Typically Finasteride ( or Propecia ) is available only on prescription to men. Minoxidil ( or Rogaine ) is
available often over the counter, but has a tendency to be better for ladies than men. While Minoxidil has a
tendency to be employed in external applications, applied to the scalp, Finasteride is mostly taken orally.
If you decide to pick one of the numerous hair expansion products on the market is, naturally, a private call.
All I can counsel is that you studied the packaging meticulously both before you purchase as well as before you
start the treatment. And if you are in any doubt about the product, consult a trained medical pro before you
start.
