Men Hair Loss
Issues
A receding hairline, thinning of the hair and other types of
hair loss for men may be attributed to many factors some of
which may be due to heredity, illnesses or bad health
habits.
There are many different types and causes of hair loss. Men
hair loss issues can happen at any life stage from puberty on.
This condition can be just as disconcerting for women as it is
for men. Below are a few causes and explanations for men hair
loss conditions.
Genetics
One of the main factors that lead to men hair-loss is the
genetic contribution by our forefathers. Our genes carry the
outline of our lives and these can dictate the sort of physical
and psychological attributes we have inherited. Although there
are of course manyoutside factors that also contribute to men
hair loss other than genetics. Do not be concerned if there are
a few males in your circle of relatives that have receding
hairlines or bald spots it does not always mean that you may
also. It depends on which specific genes you inherited as to
whether or not you will also have significant hair loss.
Stress And Other
Health Conditions
Stress, exercise, illness and diet may also play a part in
some men hair-loss cases. Men and women who are stressed are
dismissive of their health and they may lack the essential
nutrients to keep up their locks. Everyone's body is different,
some can handle more stress than others which is why some men
may suffer from men hair loss while others don't. Some
conditions may crop up when someone is severely stressed or
suffering an illness where they may experience some hair loss.
There also many other health factors that can contribute to
hair loss. See a physician immediately upon experiencing signs
of hair loss as this may be a sympton of a more serious
condition.
Some men hair loss conditions may be temporary while others
may be permanent. As mentioned above various situations may
affect male hormones where they may become over or under
active. These may be remedied with medications while genetic
hair loss conditions cannot necessarily be treated. In a few
cases of men hair loss some individuals unknowingly pull out
strands of hair due stress. This may be done while sleeping or
while awake and may result in bald spots.
Most people have over 100,000 follicles on the scalp alone.
If one comes out it will never be regained. The hair system is
known the pilosebaceous system which consists of four main
parts; the follicle (the root that produces the hair fiber,)
the papilla (the organ that feeds hair growth,) the sebaceous
gland (the associated oil gland) and the hair fiber (shaft or
structure which is the result of the previous three working
together to produce what we can see and crowns our head.
Since not all male baldness can be stopped or the hair
regrown, a lot of men will try plenty of remedies which may or
may not help. Temporary hair loss or hair thinning will
eventually begin growing new and healthy hair again. Permanent
hair loss is usually the result of the loss of hair
follicles.
